Keeping your FOCUS

.
Comments from an SSC Member:

I did not write to you for quite a long time…. Last week was on a big high from all points of view! This week is an extreme low?...

Response:

Keep your memory FOCUSED on that BIG HIGH of last week from all points of view.... If you can feel that way for one week, you can feel that way for the rest of your life. It is rather simple to do if you remember what to do the moment you begin to feel the "lows" trying too pull you down.

IMMEDIATELY embrace your "lows" the moment you become aware of them. Love them to death and the power your "lows" have over you will melt away from you instantly.....

No truer words have ever been spoken than these words by Hermann Hesse, a German Philosopher:

"You know quite well, deep within you, that there is only a single magic, a single power, a single salvation... and that is called loving. Well, then, love your suffering. Do not resist it, do not flee from it. It is your aversion to suffering that hurts, nothing else"

What causes us to get sucked into the "lows of our life" is because we believe in them.... What causes us to get sucked into the lows of our life is our fear of them. What causes our "lows" to make us suffer is our FEAR of suffering. Without fear there is no suffering, only peace, happiness and joy.

The moment you notice you are feeling low, a form of suffering, do not resist it, embrace it, accept it, love it to death and it will disappear from your life sooooo fast it will make your head spin.

Whatever we fear has power over us. When we embrace what we fear, we neutralize or dissolve that fear and spontaneously return to our natural state which is happiness, joy and inner peace to overflowing.

May the "Spirit" of Christmas fill you up with all the good things your heart has ever desired! The good things of life are your spiritual birthright, you only have to claim them as your own.. Do not let your will to feel good all the time be overruled by the "lows" of your life.
