Child God - Adult God

The relationship we developed with God during our childhood affects our relationship with every single person we meet as an adult. If we had a kind, loving, understanding, easy going relationship with God during our growing up years then that is the kind of relationship we will have with others during our adults years. On the other hand, if our relationship with God during our growing up years was one of fear, doubt, worry, and distrust, then that is the kind of relationship we will have with others during our adult years. Our parents determine what our understanding of God is. If our parents were kind, gentle and understanding then we see God that way. If our parents were cruel, demanding, impatience, punishing and judgmental, then we see God that way.


The way we saw God as a Child was determined by our parents.
