While being a cynic might make me feel smart and self-protected, it doesn't do a thing to help me live my life as a spiritual being, being human for awhile. While there are people and institutions to be cynical about in this day and age of excessive materialism, I choose to extend trust to all people until they prove to me they cannot be trusted. Trust is a gift of myself I give to others because it allows me to live in peace and harmony with my immortal soul.
