Daughter's Advice

In the 1980's I was having a dramatic conversation with my daughter about a recent break up with a girlfriend I had. I was going on and on about how wonderful this woman was. My daughter stopped me in mid-sentence and said:  'Cut the crap Dad, she dumped you!' My daughter was right. Instantly I stopped the drama and moved on.
