Successfully Managing the 'Negative Parts' Of You

Fighting with the negative parts of yourself or your negative thoughts is a hopeless waste of time. Why? Because the more you fight with or resist the negative parts of yourself , the more powerful those parts of you become. The best thing to do with the negative parts of yourself (negative thoughts) is to ignore them. Give the negative parts of yourself no attention or energy at all. Yes, it is true, you can't help but notice the 'negative parts' but use that 'noticing' as an ALERT signal to focus on the magnificent parts of yourself, to focus only on those thoughts that make you feel wonderful to be you.
