Insights For Daily Living

Insights For Daily Living are updated as time permits

These 'insights for living' show up in my mind, out of thin air, when I am least expecting them. They always provide me with the guidance or answers I am seeking for a particular situation or circumstance. -

Insights For Saturday, December 6, 2014

Life is pretty simple for me these days, how I am feeling tells me what I am attracting.  When I don't like what I am feeling, I change my thinking to a better class of thoughts that causes me to feel better which results in me attracting better things to myself.

Insights For Friday, December 5, 2014

Repeating thoughts like: "I am trapped, I feel trapped, I feel like there is no way out" kept me stuck in a unwanted situation much longer than I wanted to be.

If you are ever find yourself trapped in a situation like I was, to free yourself from it, change how you think about the 'trapped feeling'.

Here is an example of what I mean:

I may feel trapped but just because I feel that way, it doesn't mean that I am trapped. It is only a feeling that will change when I change my thoughts to: The 'trapped' feeling is ALERTING me that there is nothing more I can do about my situation, in this moment, and since there isn't, I might as well go play.

The great thing about my change of attitude is that it allowed me to 'let go' of thoughts that no longer served me. As a result of 'letting go' by playing, during the time I am playing, answers and insights spontaneously, show up in my mind, out of thin air that allow me to move through my situation rather than being permanently stuck in it.

Focusing your attention on what you don't want attracts more of what you don't want. As an example, if you feel bad and continue to focus on feeling bad, you always end up feeling worse. Nothing good can ever come to you while your attention is focused on what you don't want

Insights For Wednesday, December 3, 2014

FOCUS is everything to me because when I FOCUS on what I DO want, I attract more of what I DO want to me.

I make it a point to FOCUS on love, compassion, peace, harmony,  understanding, cooperation, caring, sharing, health and prosperity.

I do not deny the bad, in the world, I just don't focus on it. FOCUSING on what I do want, consistently, has given me and the people I love, a rich and happy life.

Insights For Tuesday, December 2, 2014

1. It is not what I do that produces the results I want, it is what I feel that does. Good feelings means I am thinking thoughts that are taking me in the direction of  what I want (my goal) while my bad feelings tell me that I am thinking thoughts that are moving me further away from what I want.

If I believe it is what I do that achieves results and that it has nothing to do with what I feel, I will continually ignore my negative feelings, not realizing they are telling me that I am thinking the wrong thoughts resulting in me taking the wrong actions to get me to where I want to go.

2. I do not need to know 'how to' achieve my goal to make it come true. I need to trust that my 'feel good' desires for my goal will show me the way to achieve my goal when I don't know the way.

Insights For Monday, December 1, 2014

1. I use to be jealous of other people's success. That PUSHED my success away from me. Being grateful for people's success, rejoicing in their success, ATTRACTED my success to me.

2. When my life isn't working the way I want, I look for people to serve. That immediately makes my life start working again.

3. Trying too hard is un-attractive (does not attract) and pushes away from me the very things I want.

4. Thoughts producing feelings. Feelings are the first physical evidence that something (good or bad) is coming true for me. When I don't like what's coming true for me, I change my thoughts. Changing my thoughts changes the results.
