When you cannot change some situation or circumstance in your life that you want to change, God can make those changes for you.
God has your best interests at heart and he will give you what you want or something better, that is, if you trust him enough to let him make changes in your life.
However, God cannot make changes, in your life. without your permission.
You see, it is not God's nature to force his will upon anyone otherwise it would negate or cancel out the "gifts" of free will and power of choice he gave to each of us at the time of our birth.
