What would happen if we decided to take our military budget of over 400 billions dollars and instead of spending it on guns, bullets and bombs, we spent it on feeding and clothing our enemies and educating them in concepts of harmony, abundance, cooperation and good will towards all people. Imagine what a difference that would make.
The mind set to kill and do violence to another is a learned concept. What is learned can be unlearned and replaced with higher values that benefit all mankind rather than just a privileged few.

There is a bill in congress right now to create the Dept. of Peace that would be equal to the Dept. of Defense in power and scope. It can become a reality in our government, but each of us must do our part by creating the "political will" of the people to make it happen.
