Releasing "Don't Wants"

Some of you have probably noticed that as soon as you started working on your list of what you DO WANT, your "don't wants" started showing up in your life big time. That's a good thing, a very good thing.

The reason your "don't wants" show up in your mind when you begin focusing on what you DO WANT is so you can become aware of them and consciously release them. You have to consciously "release your "don't wants" in order to make room for your "do wants" to show up in your life.

The problem many people run into in regards to releasing their "don't wants" is RESISTANCE. You have thoughts of your "don't wants" showing up in your mind and as soon as that happens, you react by RESISTING them. Resisting your "don't wants" keeps them in place and makes your "don't wants" persist in your life.

You can always tells when you have thoughts of your "don't wants" running in the background of your mind because those thoughts make you feel awful.

When you FEEL your "don't wants", running in the background of your mind, train yourself to notice them and allow them to pass you by. That is all you have to do, notice them and allow them to pass you by just as you would allow storm clouds to pass you by when you are watching them in the sky.

If you do anything else with your "don't wants" other than noticing them and allowing them to pass you by, they will persist in your life. Releasing "don't wants" requires us to notice them and allow them to pass us by, that's it.

Think about this for a moment. Why would you put any "thinking energy", at all, into your "don't wants", other than noticing them and allowing them to pass you by, if you don't want them. If you think about your "don't wants" at all, that means you do want them...

The old saying "This Too Shall Pass" refers to allowing our "don't wants" to pass us by and disappear from our life with effortless ease.
