A white lie is a lie
An embellishment is a lie
An exaggeration is a lie
A rationalization is a lie.
A justification is a lie.
A fabrication is a lie.
MISINFORMATION IS A POLITE WORD FOR A LIE
The truth believed is a LIE... You can only experience the TRUTH
People lie, often times, unwittingly but that doesn't make them a LIAR.
As an example: If you repeat to me a bit of information and I take it as the truth and repeat it and later on it turns out that what you told me was a lie, then because of your misinformation, I lied too even though at the time I thought I was telling the truth.
If you want to know if a person is a liar or not, watch what they say and do. If there is a discrepancy between what they say and do, they are lying. Your job is to figure out whether the lie 'lives' is in what they say or what they do.
LIES HAPPEN FOR MANY REASONS.
Lies happen because people are afraid to tell the truth.
People lie out of fear of punishment for making a mistake.
Lies happen because people are misinformed.
People lie to cover up wrong doing.
People lie to deceive and take advantage of people.
ARE ALL LIES BAD?
If all lies are bad, then fish stories are very bad. In my book, the only lies that are bad are lies that hurt people or cause people to experience a loss of some sort. Comedians lie (exaggerate) all the time to entertain, is that bad? Fiction is a book full of lies because the story is all made up in the author's head.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY IS NOT IMPORTANT,
WHAT PEOPLE DO IS IMPORTANT...
If someone says they love you....but by their actions they disrespect and abuse you. You can clearly see the LIE lives in what they said...
Words will deceive you, fool you, actions never will...
Make people accountable for their actions, not their words.
