Rejection is God's protection. Rejection is the universe leading you in a better direction than the one you were are going. Rejection is a detour on the path to getting what you want..  Being rejected isn't painful. What's painful is 'rejecting yourself' when someone has rejected you.  Rejection itself is always protection or a detour, it is never personal. However, when you take it personal, you make yourself feel flawed or defective in some way and that is very painful. Stop doing that to yourself.
