People lie for one reason and that reason is fear. If you live in love instead of living in fear you will never feel motivated to lie.
The consequences of lies are HUGE and Karma, sooner or later STICKS it to people who lie. And the bigger the lies, the harder Karma kicks people in the ass for the lies they have told.
Everyone who lies is ultimately destroyed by the lies they tell and everyone who tells the truth is saved by the truth they tell.
Granted the truth is not always pretty, sometimes it can be downright ugly but telling the truth ALWAYS works whereas lies may work for a short period of time but in the end they will bring extensive shame and humiliation to the people who tell the lies.
Lies simply do not work, they never have.
It is not about being a moral or good person and not lying. It is about not lying because lying does not work. It is an irresponsible way to live one's life. And worse yet lying causes unwanted tension and stress and comprises a person's immune system. Studies show that liars get seriously ill more often than non-liars do.
None of us are perfect.
We all have done things we are not proud of but pretending we didn't sucks the life right out of us. I don't know about you but my life is an open book. I did what I did, I said what I said. I am responsible for it all
