Writers Know About The 'Writing God' that lives within.

Today I slept in and got up at 5:30 AM rather than my 3:30 time. My sleeping times are determined by the 'Writing God' that lives within me. 

When it wants me to write I can't go back to sleep even if I tried. 

I must admit, without sounding too strange, that when I'm writing, I feel a higher power, of some divine nature, has taken over my body and is writing through me. When that happens the feeling of being one with this power is strong. My job, it seems, is to open myself up to this power and allow the thoughts that float into my mind be put down on paper.
