The quickest way to depress yourself is to concern yourself about what other people think of you. Any concerns you have about what other people think of you will stop you from being you. Your thoughts about other people's thoughts about you will imprison you. Worrying about what people will think of you if you 'say or do' this or that will hold you back and keep you showing up in the world as a 'shy person' rather than showing up in the world as the brilliant person you truly are...
Do you know the worst judgments you have about yourself are the ones where YOU judge that other people are judging you.
The point is nothing, NOTHING can discourage or defeat you except for your very own thoughts OR your thoughts about other people's thoughts, still your thoughts.

The more you focus on your doubts the more doubts you attract to yourself and the larger your doubts grow until you have no self-confidence left at all. This is one example of how the law of attraction works against people rather than for them.

The Most Deadly SIN..
.
Second guessing yourself is the most deadly sin. It will undermine your self-confidence and self-esteem faster than shooting yourself up with cocaine. We 'second guess or doubt ourselves' when we think our best isn't good enough.YOUR BEST IS ALWAYS GOOD ENOUGH
It is important to understand that your best is ALWAYS good enough. Why do I say that? Because in the moment when you did what you did if you could have done better, you would have. We always do our best, in the moment. Beating yourself up for the lessons you are learning as you move through life doing your best, one moment of time, is a very destructive way of thinking and acting that will only cause you to beat yourself up over and over again..
Once you do what you do, let it remain in the past where it belongs. In the moment, your best is always good enough. And in future moments of time, your best will become a new best for you. Regret or guilt over something you did in the past, even if it is only one second in your past, is the road to a hell of your own making... On other other hand, giving up the most deadly sin of 'second guessing' yourself by accepting what happened and moving on, frees you up to create what will be...

Go Ahead, Blow your Own Horn. It's alright!
.
I recently realized that if we don't blow our own horn, no one else will. Bragging about yourself is not bragging when you are tooting your own horn in regards to things you know you are good at. You will notice that the most famous and successful people in the world are experts at blowing their own horn. Donald Trump, Simon Cowell and Oprah Winfrey come to mind. Don't you think it is time you started blowing your horn rather than continuing to belittle or put yourself down in any way. Go ahead, blow your own horn in the comment section, I want to know what you are good at.
