When absorbed in thinking we are cut off from our feelings. Jobs requires us to constantly think, think, think. As a result we rarely know how we feel until we get home and it safe to feel again. And that is when we notice what we did to our body by thinking too much and not checking in with our feelings, during the day, often enough.
For better mental and emotional health get into the habit of checking in with your feelings multiply times during the day to see if you are making yourself stronger or if you are making yourself weaker.
By checking in with your feelings, more often, you won't end up being totally exhausted at the end of your day and wondering why. Your feelings are always monitoring how well you are taking care of yourself. Check in with them regularly.
