Sharing our thoughts with others is one of the ways we LOVE or HATE others. Let me explain. When we share our best thoughts, (thoughts that feel good to us) with others, we are loving them. When we share our worst thoughts (thoughts that feel bad to us) with others, we are hating them.
If you loved someone, why would you ever share thoughts with them that makes them feel bad too. Isn't that just you sharing your misery with others? And aren't miserable thoughts, thoughts laced with self-hate? They certainly aren't thoughts filled with self-love.
I know most people never think that what they say to another is an expression of love or hate but all you have to do is look at the world around you to see this is true.
To prove to yourself what I just shared with you is true, notice when someone expresses their anger to others. Notice that their expression of anger makes other people angry too. Notice when someone expresses their hatred to others, that expression of their hatred causes other people to feel hatred too.
Notice when someone shares violent thoughts with others, it makes other people feel violent too. Notice when someone shares their fear thoughts with others, it makes other people feel fear too.
Sharing our thoughts is one of the way we LOVE or HATE others and since I now know that, I choose only to share thoughts that make others feel loved. In the process of sharing thoughts with others that makes them feel loved, I feel loved too.
AUTHOR NOTE: It is not the words we share with others that spreads the love or hate, it is what we are feeling on the inside when we are sharing our words with others that does the trick.
